The practice prides itself on excellent patient and client care, so whilst a friendly, outgoing character is required to work well in their relaxed working environment, also required is a dedicated approach to work so as to ensure their reputation is upheld. Some experience in assisting with surgery would be advantageous with between 2 and 8 ops on a daily basis, however, all specialist cases are referred out and more important to the role is an enjoyment of nurse consults and involvement with clinics where you will be given the freedom to suggest and develop your own ideas. One of the vet team has a certificate in Internal Medicine and as such the successful candidate will have the opportunity to work alongside and gain valuable exposure in this field. On offer to the successful candidate is a 38hr week, a 1 in 4 weekend rota which consists of 8:30am-2pm Saturday and on call for the remainder of the weekend with a day off the following week in lieu.
