Are you an experienced and dynamic R&D Manager looking to join a growing team and lead the development of cutting-edge products for pets?

As the R&D Manager, you will play a key role in driving the research, development, and innovation of new products for the pet market. You will work with a great team of scientists and collaborate cross-functionally to ensure that our products meet the highest standards of quality, safety, and effectiveness. You will also work closely with regulatory, marketing, and production teams to bring new products to market, from concept to launch.

Key Responsibilities:

• Collaborate with the R&D team, guiding the development of new pet products and formulations.
• Drive research initiatives to identify and evaluate novel ingredients, actives, and delivery systems that can improve pet health.
• Oversee the design and execution of pre-clinical studies and clinical trials to support product efficacy and safety claims.
• Collaborate with cross-functional teams (marketing, regulatory, production, etc.) to ensure alignment throughout the product development lifecycle.
• Conduct literature reviews, data analysis, and scientific evaluations to stay ahead of trends and innovations in the pet health and wellness industry.
• Develop and manage timelines, budgets, and project milestones to ensure successful product launches.
• Ensure all R&D activities comply with regulatory requirements and industry standards.
• Prepare and present scientific findings and product concepts to internal and external stakeholders

Qualifications:

• Bachelor's or Master's degree in a relevant field (e.g., Animal Science, Veterinary Medicine or related disciplines). 
• Minimum of 3 years of experience in R&D within the veterinary, pet or animal health related industries.
• Proven experience in product development from ideation to launch, particularly in the pet or animal health industry.
• Strong understanding of regulatory guidelines and safety standards for products.
• Experience in overseeing pre-clinical and clinical research, including study design, execution, and analysis.
• Excellent project management skills, with the ability to manage multiple projects simultaneously.
• Strong communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to collaborate with diverse teams and external partners.
• Passion for pet health and wellness.
