Our client’s well-established 4 Vet Practice is seeking an experienced locum vet to join their team on a temporary basis to help cover long-term sickness and holiday leave. This practice is busy and varied, offering an engaging and dynamic work environment supported by a dedicated team of veterinary professionals. This locum position is an excellent opportunity to work in a dynamic setting and make a meaningful contribution to the team during a critical period. The ideal candidate will have a Veterinary degree and registration with the RCVS, significant experience in a veterinary practice setting, strong communication skills and a commitment to teamwork and the ability to handle a busy and varied workload with confidence.
The successful candidate will be responsible for and required to
- Provide high-quality veterinary care in a busy, varied practice setting.
- Flexibility to cover consultations or one day of operations per week as needed.
- Work collaboratively with a team of 5 Registered Veterinary Nurses (RVNs), 1 Student Veterinary Nurse (SVN), and 2 Veterinary Care Assistants (VCAs).
- Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
This role is currently Ongoing until October, working 3-4 days a week, 9am – 7pm.
