We’re working on behalf of a growing independent veterinary clinic based in Central London, currently looking to appoint an experienced and driven Practice Manager to lead their team and oversee day-to-day operations.

🐾 The Role:

As Practice Manager, you'll play a key role in ensuring the smooth, efficient and compliant running of the clinic. You’ll be the go-to person for both the team and clients — overseeing staff, supporting clinical operations, and driving service excellence in line with the clinic’s values of compassion, innovation and high-quality care.

You’ll also be working closely with the leadership team to shape the future of the practice — blending your operational know-how with your people management skills.

🧩 Key Responsibilities:

• Oversee the daily running of the practice, ensuring operational efficiency
• Manage, support, and develop the clinical and administrative teams
• Monitor financial performance, budgets, and key business metrics
• Maintain compliance with veterinary legislation and professional standards
• Optimise internal processes and ensure best practices are in place
• Lead recruitment, onboarding and performance management processes
• Handle client feedback and ensure excellent customer experience
• Coordinate stock control, supplier relationships and inventory management
• Foster a positive, respectful, and collaborative working environment

To thrive in this role, you’ll need to be confident, proactive, and a natural leader with a love for animals and people alike. You’ll ideally bring:

• Proven experience as a Practice Manager in a veterinary or healthcare setting
• Excellent communication and interpersonal skills
• Ability to lead, motivate, and support multidisciplinary teams
• Strong organisational and problem-solving skills
• Experience using veterinary practice management software
• A calm, approachable manner and high attention to detail
• A passion for improving patient care and client satisfaction
