Schedule:
- Monday: 8:00 AM - 7:00 PM (high priority)
- Tuesday: 8:00 AM - 2:00 PM
- Thursday: 8:00 AM - 1:00 PM
- Friday: 8:00 AM - 7:00 PM (high priority)
Job Description:
We are urgently seeking a skilled and experienced Veterinary Receptionist to join our team on a temporary basis. Our permanent receptionist is scheduled to start this coming Monday, but due to unforeseen illness, we need immediate coverage until around September.
Key Responsibilities:
- Greeting clients and their pets with a warm, professional demeanor
- Managing appointment schedules
- Handling phone inquiries and providing accurate information
- Processing payments and managing invoicing
- Utilizing our internal system, Merlin PMS, efficiently
Requirements:
- Prior experience in a veterinary reception role is essential
- Proficiency with Merlin PMS is a bonus
- Strong organizational and communication skills
- Ability to handle high-pressure situations with a calm and positive attitude
- Flexibility to cover the specified hours, particularly on Mondays and Fridays
Compensation:
- We are open to both Umbrella and PAYE contract arrangements
