JR is seeking a Registered Veterinary Nurse to join our client’s team in Birmingham offering an exciting and diverse opportunity for those looking to work in a dynamic and supportive environment. As an RVN, you’ll work across five branches, engaging in a wide variety of cases and procedures. This role allows you to split your time between a busy, well-equipped hospital and smaller branch clinics, where you can build closer relationships with clients through nursing clinics. The role offers a unique mix of high-caliber veterinary care and personalized service.
The successful candidate will be involved in first-opinion cases and assisting with more complex referral-level procedures alongside a highly skilled team of Vets and Nurses as well as exposure to specialist areas such as Cardiology, Surgery, Dermatology, and Orthopaedics, supported by an impressive range of modern equipment and state-of-the-art facilities including CT scanner, dedicated dental x-ray unit, referral-level ultrasound and dedicated scanning room, ICU incubators, piped oxygen, and underfloor heating in kennels and cattery and endoscopes and an NHS-level lab.
You will be working as part of a multi-award-winning team, where both clients and staff are treated as family. The practice has won several prestigious awards, including Best UK Vet (twice), RCVS Wellbeing and Client Service Award 2018 and Best Place to Work 2019.

This team are ideally looking for a passionate and self-motivated RVN who thrives in both busy hospital settings and smaller, community-focused branches and enjoys working in a collaborative and supportive team environment with the opportunity to contribute to high standards of veterinary care and someone who is open to developing advanced nursing skills in specialized areas of care.
This is a Permanent, Full-Time role working 37 hours a week with 1:4 weekends and TOIL. However, our client is also happy to consider a part-time role for the right candidate so please do let us know your preferences.
