About The Role
Our client is an independent practice that is looking for nurses to join their team.
Responsibilities
The role of senior nurse plays a vital role in the smooth operation or the Ophthalmology service. You will work closely with the Head of Service, the Nurse & Patient Care Assistant (PCA) Team Manager and the team of Senior Nurses. Your role will involve assisting in the development and implementation of protocols and procedures, monitoring and managing inventory of ophthalmic equipment and supplies and managing and providing support to your team.
The Rota
This is a full-time role working 40 hours per week, comprising of 4 x 10-hour shifts including one hour paid lunch. You will also be on call for the Ophthalmology service 1 in 5 weekends and as part of the shared bank holiday rota. All Senior nurses participate in the weekend/bank holiday rota, although this is typically remotely to the hospital.
Ideal Candidate
The candidate will be an RCVS registered nurse who is passionate and has a good understanding of Ophthalmology.
