About The Role
Our client is looking for a Night RVN to join their established night ECC team in their tier 3 hospital.
About The Hospital
The RCVS-accredited Hospital has a real emphasis in ECC and medicine, and by hosting their own Vet24 OOH service, they see an exciting and varied case load, benefiting from a continuity of day and night clinical care. With many local practices feed into their clinic, resulting in a true critical care case load. No day is ever the same
The Team
As an RVN on their night team, you would be working alongside another RVN, Receptionist, 1 Vet and PCA, in addition to overlap from the Twilight Vet at weekends. There are lots of Vets and nurses on the team with their own individual interests which they love to support; they can offer great in-house training opportunities and the perfect environment to grow your skills, particularly for nurses with an ECC interest!
Facilities
They are well equipped with everything you would expect, including endoscopes, full in-house laboratory assessments including blood gas analysis and coagulation times, digital X-rays including dental X-rays, ultrasound with linear and phased array probes, video gastroscope, bronchoscope and laparoscope, fully equipped theatre for ECC surgery and dental suite. There is a separate cat and dog ward, and they are proud to have silver cat friendly status. They also have on-site parking available for the team.
The Rota
Hours are 7 nights on followed by 14 nights off on an annualised contract. Shift start at 7:15pm and end at 8:15am. Average 30.33 hours per week.
