JR is seeking a compassionate and skilled registered veterinary nurse to join our client’s welcoming and supportive team. With opportunities for both career growth and work-life balance, it's a perfect opportunity for someone seeking both professional and personal satisfaction.
You will be joining a large and experienced team of 9 vets, 10 RVNs, 3 Student Veterinary Nurses, 1 Animal Care Assistant, and 13 support staff. This team offers a relaxed and supportive work atmosphere, with a focus on team welfare and work-life balance as well as encouragement for professional growth, skill development, and the opportunity to advance in new techniques. Situated in a charming market town close to the moors and the Cornish coast, this location is perfect for exploring both the countryside and seaside with easy access to Plymouth (30 minutes by car) and further connections via direct rail lines to major UK cities like London, Bristol, and Birmingham. The local town boasts local shops, cafes, and pubs, offering a quaint yet vibrant lifestyle with access to beautiful landscapes and city life.
This is a permanent, full-time role working 4 shifts 8.15am – 5pm and 1 shift 8.30am – 6.30pm with an equal share of the OOH Rota and on average 2 Saturday mornings in 8-9weeks. However, our client is flexible and happy to consider a part-time role for the right candidate so please do let us know your preferences.
