Our client is seeking a Registered Veterinary Nurse to join their team in Greater Manchester. This is a fantastic opportunity to be part of a forward-thinking and compassionate team that’s committed to delivering the highest standards of veterinary care.
This 24-hour veterinary centre and referral centre is equipped with the latest technology and treatment options. You will be working alongside a team who believe in providing exceptional care to our patients, clients, and colleagues alike and are passionate about making a positive difference through every interaction and creating a supportive and progressive work environment for their staff.
The successful candidate will be responsible for and required to
- Consistently deliver outstanding care and service to the patients and their owners, ensuring a positive experience.
- Assist in surgeries and procedures, handling all pre- and post-operative tasks with precision and care.
- Manage patient admissions and discharges in coordination with the veterinary team, ensuring clear communication and smooth transitions.
- Complete safe and efficient patient transfers to out-of-hours or enhanced care when required.
- Dispense and verify medications accurately.
- Strong ability to work collaboratively in a team environment, contributing to a supportive and productive practice.
- Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
This is a permanent, full-time role working 40 hours a week with 1:6 full weekends.
