About The Role
Our clients are looking for experienced and dedicated Registered Veterinary Nurses with a passion for emergency and critical care. The ideal candidate will be flexible, work well without supervision and have previous experience working in a busy practice or hospital would be preferred. This fixed-term position covers MAT leave for 12 months, working 40 hours per week.
Equipment
You will have full access to state-of-the-art facilities such as an orthopaedic theatre, digital x-ray, ultrasound, ECG and much more.
Role and accountabilities
- Consistently deliver exceptional care to your clients.
- Support with surgeries and procedures, completing all pre and post-procedure activity.
- Carry out nurse-led appointments and schedule 3 activities.
- Deliver patient monitoring and care.
- Manage admissions and discharges as directed by the Veterinary team.
- Complete patient transfers to out-of-hours or enhanced care.
- Dispense and check medication.
