The Role
Our client is looking for a clinical nursing manager to join and manage their clinical team on a 1-year fixed-term contract.
Facilities/Equipment
They can offer a fantastic location to work, as well as boasting some state-of-the-art equipment and plenty of onsite parking.
The Team
The clinical team bring a variety of experiences and a typical day sees an interesting and varied caseload, including routine surgery, some orthopaedic cases, dentistry, and a variety of medical cases and one of the sites has a particular focus on exotics too.
Duties/Responsibilities
You will be responsible for overseeing 3 practices across Hertfordshire and will advocate for veterinary nursing, leading from the front to create clinical excellence across all branches. You will play a key role in the provision of, strategic, professional, and operational leadership for the nursing team with nurse utilisation as a focus for improving services.
Candidate Requirements
Applicants should have a minimum of 2 to 3 years in practice experience post RCVS registration and a minimum of one year of previous leadership/line manager experience. Evidence of leadership training or qualifications would be an advantage as would a Clinical Supervisor or Mentoring qualification.
The Rota
This is a full-time role working 42 hours per week with 1 in 4 Saturdays plus 1 in 9 Sundays.
