The Role
Our clients are looking for a motivated Registered Veterinary Nurse, for a multidisciplinary role. This position would allow an RVN with a desire to grow and develop within its nursing team. This is a full-time position working 40 hours a week including one in four Saturdays, there will be no OOHs or on-call required.
There will be the opportunity to maintain nursing competency in all areas of the practice, with allocated shifts in theatre, dental radiography, nurse consults and lab. Schedule 3 procedures are encouraged and supported in their team.
Equipment and practice
Our clients are an ophthalmology referral practice. They have digital X-rays, dental x-ray, state-of-the-art ultrasound machines and endoscopy. They have two theatres and 6 consult rooms. They also have separate dog and cat wards, with a further ward for their recovery/day patients. They have a set of cat condos in their newly refurbished cat ward which are in line with ISFM standards. They are planning to upgrade their dog kennels very soon. They have IDEXX blood machines and can test biochemistry, haematology, cortisol and urine in-house.
