The Role:
The position is full-time, 40 hours per week with 1:4 weekends with a day off in lieu and no OOH.
Our clients are looking for a passionate and hardworking team member who is friendly and likes to work in a team environment. Someone who has a keen interest in animal welfare and puts their patient as a priority. An all-rounder nurse who is competent at all nursing duties.
Their team consists of 5 vets ( and a visiting referral orthopaedic vet) 5 qualified nurses, three ACA's and 2 student nurses (all of whom bring a variety of experience and knowledge) and of course a supportive team of receptionists.
They encourage all their nurses to do what they trained for; placing catheters, taking bloods, nurse consults, inpatient care, FNA's, radiography and schedule 3 procedures. They have nurses on ultrasound courses this year and encourage any further training which will improve care to their patients and use nurses' skills.
