Are you an experienced RVN looking to take the next step in your career? My client is on the lookout for a passionate and dedicated Lead Veterinary Nurse to join their friendly and well-established team!
About the Practice
This welcoming practice is home to a fantastic team, including experienced RVNs, student nurses, and dedicated receptionists. The clinic is well-equipped with digital X-ray, ultrasound, and an in-house Idexx laboratory, ensuring top-tier patient care in a supportive and forward-thinking environment.
Your Role
As a Lead Veterinary Nurse, you’ll be at the heart of the team, leading by example and helping to maintain exceptional standards of clinical care and client service. Your key responsibilities will include:
✅ Providing clinical leadership to the nursing team.
✅ Supporting surgical and diagnostic procedures, with pre- and post-operative care.
✅ Running nurse-led clinics and promoting patient welfare.
✅ Overseeing patient monitoring, admissions, and discharges.
✅ Dispensing and checking medications.
✅ Mentoring and supporting the development of the nursing team.
📅 Full-time role | 40 hours per week | Shared weekend rota
Requirements
✔ RCVS Registered Veterinary Nurse with experience.
✔ Confident in delivering high standards of patient and client care.
✔ Passionate about mentoring and inspiring a team.
