About The Role
Our client is looking for a Head Nurse to join and manage their team.
Facilities/Equipment
The practice is well equipped with an x-ray room, dental x-ray, full IDEXX lab, endoscope, ultrasound and large theatre. They have a specialist ultra sonographer attend practice weekly to assist their regular vets and an orthopaedic surgeon on speed dial!
Duties/Caseload
Their nurses conduct nurse clinics 5 days a week, and shifts are equally split between reception, nursing, anaesthesia and nurse clinics. Their caseload is high, mainly cats and dogs (limited small mammals) but steady throughout the day.
Ideal Candidate
The ideal candidate will need to be calm under pressure use their initiative and work hard. Clinical coaching experience would be ideal, however, is not essential. They would have a minimum of 2 years of experience as an RVN and some experience in a managerial role. Full training will be provided for the role and 24-hour ongoing support from the rest of the management team.

The Rota
This is a full-time role working 4/5 days per week (7.5 hours and 30 mins unpaid lunch). There are also 1 in 5 Saturdays (8:30 am - 4:30 pm). No Sundays or bank holidays to ensure a healthy work-life balance.
