About The Role
Our client is looking for an RVN to join their hospital.
The Team
It is a 24-hour hospital that is busy and well-established, it covers care for their region. They are a 6-vet hospital complete with a dedicated night team who manage all OOH care. They have a fantastic nursing and support team including a practice manager, Head Nurse, RVNs, SVNs and reception team.
Facilities/Equipment
The hospital is well equipped with Digital x-ray and ultrasound, surgical facilities including laparoscopy and orthopaedic equipment, gastroscope and bronchoscope, 2 ops theatres and a spacious prep area, 3 consult rooms, an Isolation area and separate cat/dog wards, in-house lab and large dispensary.
Duties
The duties of the role will involve nursing/discharge of in-patients, nurse consultations, training of junior nurses, running in-house lab samples and organising repeat prescriptions.
Ideal Candidate
The ideal candidate will have excellent organisational skills, and be a strong communicator. They will also be able to remain calm under pressure.
