About The Role
Our client is looking for an RVN to join their small animal well-established independent practice.
Practice Information
The practice has been established for 24 years in Greenwich serving their community and delivering gold-standard care to their clients. The practice is busy and well-equipped to provide care to its active and loyal client base. They are a training practice that supports veterinary professionals in their process of becoming qualified.
Facilities/Equipment
They are a busy practice, seeing an average of 100 clients a day. They deal with all general nursing and typically have a full kennel with emergencies coming in throughout the day. As they see a varied caseload, the practice is well-equipped with ultrasound, cardiac sounds, dental X-ray, digital X-ray, blood and urine equipment, an endoscope, and monitoring anaesthesia.
Duties
The duties of the nurse team are fairly rotated between nurse consults, surgery, inpatients, discharging, and ultrasound monitoring. Reception duties are covered by their support team.
The Team
The team at this independent practice are close-knit and think of each other as family. They support one another through their journeys and have created a welcoming and friendly working environment. The team consists of 4 vets, 2 RVNs, 3 SVNs and 3 CCAs who all enjoy each other’s company inside and outside of work on socials.
The Rota
This role is a full-time position working over either 4 or 5 days per week. There is a weekend rota of 1:4 working only on a Saturday morning (8:30 am – 12:30 pm). They are closed on Sundays and bank holidays.

Their ideal candidate would be someone who thrives in a busy environment and is not afraid to get stuck. They will have a friendly and supportive nature to those who are in training, clinical coaching experience would be amazing but not essential.
