Non-Clinical Registered Veterinary Nurse - Manchester
Are you a registered veterinary nurse and looking for a non-clinical role as well as no weekends? Then this role is perfect for you! My client is searching for a Triage Nurse to support the Client Services team. In this crucial position, you will play a key role in the efficient operation of my clients front-of-house services, optimising diary management, and triaging patients upon arrival. This role is ideal for an experienced nurse (with at least 2 years of qualification) who is eager to transition from clinical duties and has a strong passion for client care.
Key Responsibilities:
- Triage Support: Evaluate and prioritize incoming patients to ensure they receive timely and appropriate care from the correct team.
- Front Desk Coordination: Work closely with the Reception team to enhance all aspects of client services.
- Diary Management: Ensure appointment schedules are efficiently organized to maximize client and pet throughput.
- Communication: Serve as a liaison for external referrals coming into the clinic.
- Call Handling: Respond to incoming calls from pet owners.
- Pharmacy Assistance: Support repeat prescription enquiries as needed.
- Administrative Tasks: Manage non-clinical administrative duties related to patient care and case management, including assistance with insurance claims and debt management.
Skills and Qualifications:
- Registered Veterinary Nurse (RVN) certification is essential.
- Proven ability to manage a fast-paced, high-pressure environment with confidence, composure, and kindness.
- Excellent communication and organizational skills, with a strong ability to empathize with pet owners and collaborate effectively within a team.
Although this is a full-time position from Monday-Friday, part time applicants will also be considered.
