About The Role
Tempus Recruitment is working with an independent practice that is on the lookout for a Night RVN to join their dedicated team of nurses.
About The Practice
As a well-established, independent practice, they are renowned for their community spirit and being a local, reputable employer. They have all the equipment and facilities you need such as Species-specific wards, isolation wards and equipment, diagnostic imaging suite, laboratory suite, two surgical theatres, portable ultrasound scanner for FAST scans and all of the usual modcons.
The Caseload
You will be exposed to a varied and interesting caseload of both medicine and surgical cases, including emergency scenarios in our hospital.
Duties
The night team is an integral part of their patient care, with ward rounds and handovers at shift change, they actively encourage the night team to be involved in making patient plans and adjusting them as needed during the night.
The Team
They are proud to be an independent practice with a team of 11 Vets and 12 qualified Nurses.
The Rota
The working pattern is 5 nights on (Monday to Friday) followed by 9 nights off, allowing for ample time to not only recharge your batteries but also to pursue your passions outside of work, giving you an excellent work-life balance!
Duties/Responsibilities
The night nurse will be responsible for patient care, and triaging call during the night, with the support of the duty vet when required. Alongside caring for inpatients, the role will include other duties such as; preparing kits and equipment for the next day, cleaning and administration.
