Vets 2 Your Pets are a new innovative nationwide home visit veterinary service operating in England and Scotland. We provide personal, at home veterinary care for cats, dogs and rabbits for a range of services. Whether it’s a new puppy needing their first vaccination or an older friend who needs a peaceful goodbye at home, Vets 2 Your Pets can be there for stress free care. Vets 2 Your Pets has big plans to expand our service and reach as many pets as possible, and that’s where you come in!
Non-clinical, remote home working positions where your expertise and knowledge will be used every day. We would like a client care nurse to join our small and friendly team. The role would be working Tuesday and Thursday 11am-7pm, and 1 Saturday morning per month (8am-1pm). There may be the option to take on more hours for holiday cover / role expansion if wanted. You must be a registered veterinary nurse (RVN) for this role. As team meetings and training will be held throughout the year, you should be able to commute to the Bedfordshire or Buckingham area when requested. For this reason, we suggest you are within a sensible drive of these locations.
You will be involved with:
- Appointment bookings
- Communication with clients and vets
- Manging medication orders and complying with VMR regulations
- Professional telephone and email communications
- Use of database software
- Updating clinical records
- Processing or referring enquiries
- Invoice management and taking payments
- Reporting analytics of company activity on a regular basis
- Keeping accurate records of communications
- Attending team meetings
- Social media management
Key skills needed:
- Excellent level of organisation
- Attention to detail
- Ability to prioritise workload when booking multiple visits at once
- Confident using Microsoft Office programmes (Word, Excel etc)
- Experience in a customer facing role
- A high level of customer service skills
- Ability to work independently
- Pro-active and able to plan ahead
- Knowing your limits, and when you need to ask for support or training
- Creative content creation for social media engagement
Minimum qualifications and experience:
Registered Veterinary Nurse (RVN) with at least 2 years of clinical experience
Reception experience
Customer service experience would be an advantage

Salary: £14.65 per hour
Hours: Tuesday and Thursday 11am-7pm, one Saturday every 4 weeks from 8am-1pm. There may be flexibility / additional weekday hours for the right team members.
Holiday: Pro-rata FTE 20 days a year plus pro-rata bank holidays.
