Vets 2 Your Pets are a new innovative nationwide home visit veterinary service operating in England and Scotland. We provide personal, at home veterinary care for cats, dogs and rabbits and offer a range of services. Whether it’s a new puppy needing their first vaccination or an older friend who needs a peaceful goodbye at home, Vets 2 Your Pets can be there for stress free care. Vets 2 Your Pets has big plans to expand our service and reach as many pets as possible, and that’s where you come in!
Flexible, non-clinical, remote home working positions where your expertise and knowledge will be used every day. We would like two client care nurses to join our small and friendly team on a job share basis. This means you would be working 3 days per week, and one Saturday morning in 4. You must be a registered veterinary nurse (RVN) for this role. This is a home working role and as team meetings will be held throughout the year, you must be situated in a 2 hour radius of our Bedfordshire Practice. You will also require a quiet home office space to work from in order to carry our the role.
You will be involved with:
- Appointment bookings
- Communication with clients and vets
- Managing medication orders and complying with VMR regulations
- Professional telephone and email communications
- Use of database software
- Updating clinical records
- Processing or referring enquiries
- Invoice management and taking payments
- Reporting analytics of company activity on a regular basis
- Keeping accurate records of communications
- Attending team meetings
- Social media management
Key skills needed:
- Excellent level of organisation
- Attention to detail
- Ability to prioritise workload when booking multiple visits at once
- Confident using Microsoft Office programmes (Word, Excel etc)
- Experience in a customer facing role
- A high level of customer service skills
- Ability to work independently
- Pro-active and able to plan ahead
- Knowing your limits, and when you need to ask for support or training
- Creative content creation for social media engagement
Minimum qualifications and experience:
Registered Veterinary Nurse (RVN) with at least 2 years of clinical experience
Reception experience
Customer service experience would be an advantage

Salary: £13k - £14k per annum ( £26-28K FTE)
Hours: 11am – 7pm 2 or 3 days per week, 8am-1pm on Saturday. There may be flexibility for the right people.
