The Role
Our client is looking for an RVN to join their team of dedicated nurses.
About The Practice
With a 50% exotic case load, they have cared for a range of fascinating animals including pumas, bears, crocodiles, raptors, parrots, fish and meerkats. Their practice is anything but ordinary, and their team thrives on the diversity of cases that come through their doors.
The Rota
Their 8 and a half hour shifts range between 8:30 AM to 8:00 PM, with structured consulting and procedure blocks to ensure no one is overworked. This role will include only 1 in 6 weekends with time off before and after, early finishes on adjacent days, and only 2 bank holidays per year, scheduled well in advance.
About The Role
Each nurse has the opportunity to manage the care of animals at one of the many local zoos they partner with, involving quarterly visits and support during procedures, both in and out of practice.
The Team
Work within a friendly and collaborative team, comprising 5 (soon to be 6) vets with specialties in zoological medicine and small animal medicine, and a skilled nursing team that includes expertise in exotic animal care and emergency and critical care.
