JR is on the lookout for a dedicated and skilled Head Registered Veterinary Nurse to join our client’s team. This full-time position offers a dynamic and supportive environment in a practice known for its exceptional care and state-of-the-art facilities including Digital x-rays, modern in-house lab testing facilities, ultrasound, two operating theatres, separate cat, dog, and isolation wards. This clinic has recently undergone refurbishment and offers a spacious layout, ample parking as well as a highly loyal and insured client base.
The successful candidate will be responsible for and required to
- Consistently deliver exceptional care to clients and patients.
- Assist with surgeries and procedures, handling pre- and post-procedure activities.
- Conduct nurse-led appointments and schedule 3 activities.
- Monitor and care for patients, manage admissions and discharges as directed by the veterinary team.
- Complete patient transfers to out-of-hours or enhanced care, dispense, and check medication.
- Hold briefings to engage and coordinate your team for effective practice operations.
- Strong coaching and influencing skills.
- Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
This is a Permanent, Full-Time role working 40 hours per week with either 1:6 full weekends or 1:3 Saturdays.
This role offers a salary up to £32,500 DOE and a range of benefits including
