The Role
Tempus Recruitment are proudly working on behalf of an independent group who are looking to expand their nursing team.
About The Independent Group
The group consists of 8 branches with their main site having full hospitalisation facilities. They are a nurse training practice with a tier 2 accredited RCVS status. They are well-established within the community and provide an exceptional and cutting-edge standard of veterinary care. They have Advanced Surgical & Medical Facilities including Cardiology, Key Hole Surgery and Orthopaedics.
The Team
The team are supportive and works well together to ensure all patients are treated with the best care possible. The nursing team consists of 22 nurses, some of whom work in dedicated areas of the practice (wards, surgery etc.). They have 2 orthopaedic vets who are supportive and enjoy developing the nurse's capabilities by getting them involved in the interested caseload and surgeries.
The Rota
This is a full-time role working Monday - Friday (40 hours per week) with a mix of early and late shifts that are on a fair rolling rota. Saturdays are worked on a 1:8 rota basis, again fairly with all nurses taking part. Saturdays are remunerated by having a day off in Leui the next week.
Caseload
The clinic has an interesting caseload and 2 orthopaedic vets work some referral cases and rarely outsource them.
Applicant Requirement
The practice is looking for a nurse who is exciting to get involved with an interesting caseload and is looking to develop their skill sets even further. They will be a good team player and will ideally be a clinical coach or willing too.
