Our client has an exciting opportunity for an RVN to join their brand-new team in their newly refurbished practice, as their loyal clients return from visiting nearby practices and the surrounding areas. You will have the support of the 24-hour hospital for a wider range of services and overnight inpatient care, as well as the support of many colleagues with particular interests and certificate holders in the region. This practice features vet and nurse consult rooms, complementing a well-equipped practice with scope for further development. Your clinical expertise and passion for animal welfare, will contribute significantly to the continued success and growth of the practice, your team, and yourself. This stunning practice is situated in the heart of a beautiful town, nestled close to the nature reserves in the North Downs and just a few minutes’ walk from the high street, surrounded by great shops, cafes, and restaurants. Exceptional care is at the heart of everything this team can offer and provide. This includes care for their patients, clients, and each other – they aim to make a positive difference through every interaction they have.
The successful candidate will be responsible for and required to
- Consistently deliver exceptional care to your clients.
- Support with surgeries and procedures, completing all pre and post-procedure activities.
- Carry out nurse-led appointments and schedule 3 activities.
- Deliver patient monitoring and care.
- Manage admissions and discharges as directed by the veterinary team.
- Complete patient transfers to out-of-hours or enhanced care.
- Dispense and check medication.
- Excellent communication skills.
This is a Permanent, Full-Time role working 40 hours a week with 1:6 full weekends.
