Our client - a busy animal hospital - are recruiting a Veterinary Surgeon to join their talented team.
This full-time, permanent position works Monday to Friday with no weekends and no OOH! Shifts are usually 8 am – 4:30 pm or 11 am – 7:30 pm. We are happy to consider flexible working patterns and part-time applicants.
The general nursing duties will include theatre work, in-patient care, nurse clinics and general housekeeping. The areas of responsibility are shared within the nursing team.
The practice has excellent facilities including digital X-ray, ultrasound, multiparameter monitor, endoscope, laser, a dedicated nurse’s consulting room and take pride in the work they do.
Joining our client's dedicated team, you'll be surrounded by 6 experienced Vets, one of whom holds a certificate in internal medicine, and another skilled in acupuncture. The team also includes a passionate group of five full-time Vet Nurses, three part-time Vet Nurses, one Student Nurse, one training ANA, and seven support staff. They prioritise customer care and staff well-being, placing them at the top of the priority list. The friendly and down-to-earth team thrives on customer delight, working closely with local animal charities to make a positive impact. We foster a no-blame culture, encouraging open discussions on cases and constantly striving to improve our protocols.

Our client offers an excellent package with a competitive salary of up to £35,000 per annum including Private Medical Insurance, £550 CPD allowance with 24 hours paid pro rata, VDS and RCVS fees paid, 6.6 weeks annual leave and plenty more.
