We are looking for a dedicated Night RVN to join a well-established and highly regarded 24-hour hospital in West Sussex. This is a fantastic opportunity for an experienced nurse—or someone looking to transition into night work—who enjoys the challenge of emergency and inpatient care.
Set in tranquil woodlands, this practice is surrounded by stunning scenery, offering a serene yet busy environment where you can make a real difference. With 12 clinics feeding into the night service, you’ll experience a great variety of cases, ensuring no two nights are the same!
Salary: £32,000 - £34,000 (dependent on experience)
Hours: 7 nights on, 14 nights off

Your Role & Responsibilities:
- Provide gold-standard patient care, including overnight monitoring and inpatient support.
- Assist in surgical procedures, ensuring smooth pre- and post-op care.
- Triaging and handling emergencies, working closely with the night vet.
- Dispense and check medications, following veterinary guidance.
- Support and reassure clients, delivering compassionate and clear communication.
- Ensure compliance with all clinical and regulatory standards.
What We’re Looking For:
🔹 RCVS Registered Veterinary Nurse with a passion for night work and emergency care
🔹 Strong teamwork and communication skills – able to collaborate effectively in a fast-paced setting
🔹 Confidence in patient care and client interactions – remaining calm under pressure
