Are you a Veterinary Nurse with a passion for Dentistry and Anaesthesia?
An exciting opportunity has arisen for a dedicated and experienced RVN to join a large multidisciplinary hospital team. This role is perfect for someone with a keen interest in dentistry, who wants to take on a leading role in a purpose-built dental suite within a busy hospital setting.
💰 Salary DOE (including cert-holders)
🕒 40 hours per week, 4-day week, 1 in 4 weekends
About the Role
As a Dental & Anaesthesia RVN, you will:
✔ Provide anaesthetic support across various procedures, including both general and referral surgeries
✔ Oversee and maintain the IM3 purpose-built Dental Suite
✔ Work closely with a post-graduate certificate holder in Veterinary Dentistry
✔ Lead and develop nurse-led dental clinics, offering post-op checks and oral health education for clients
✔ Support the growth and development of the hospital’s dentistry service, managing referrals and bookings
✔ Train and mentor colleagues on dental instrument care and maintenance
What We’re Looking For
- We are seeking a confident and enthusiastic RVN who:
- Has, or is working towards, a nursing certificate in Dentistry
- Can perform full-mouth dental radiographs confidently
- Has knowledge of advanced dental procedures (beneficial but not essential)
- Is keen to educate clients on preventative dental care
- Can manage internal & external referrals and oversee the dentistry diary
