Job Title: Part-Time Assistant Head Nurse
Location: Swindon
Hours: Part-Time, average of 24 hours per week, Monday to Friday
Salary: £30,000 pro rata
Job Type: Permanent

Job Overview:
We are seeking a highly motivated and experienced Assistant Head Nurse to join their dedicated, caring and professional nursing team. This is an excellent opportunity for an individual who thrives on managing a variety of tasks, supporting and mentoring staff, and being a proactive member of a committed team.

Key Responsibilities:
- Provide leadership and support to the nursing team, ensuring the delivery of high-quality patient care.
- Utilize project management skills to prioritize and efficiently execute tasks.
- Engage in the training and professional development of the nursing staff, using clinical coaching techniques.
- Employ your Schedule 3 veterinary nursing skills to provide patient care daily.
- Collaborate with the wider team to monitor and improve clinical standards.
- Travel between our three practice sites as required, delivering consistent standards of care.

Requirements:
- A proven track record of experience in clinical coaching.
- Previous senior role experience within a veterinary practice is essential.
- Strong ability to prioritize and manage a multitude of tasks.
- Exceptional leadership and communication skills, with a focus on team support and training.
- Full, clean UK driving license is a necessity for travel between practice sites.
- Must be committed to participating actively in the ongoing training and development of the nursing team.
- You should be flexible, adaptable, and ready to use your initiative to maintain our high standards of care.

Qualifications:
- Registered Veterinary Nurse (RVN) with the Royal College of Veterinary Surgeons (RCVS).
- Additional leadership or management qualifications would be an advantage.
