JR is seeking an experienced Veterinary Surgeon for our clients Mixed Practice in Aberdeenshire. This role offers an exceptional balance of professional growth, diverse caseload, and quality of life.
This role guarantees variety across farm, equine, and small animal cases, with dedicated operating days for focused case management and a strong emphasis on teamwork with weekly clinical meetings for collaboration, case discussions, and check-ins. This team also supports individual interests across all areas (farm, equine, or small animal), with opportunities to focus on specific fields as desired.
This is a permanent, full-time role working 4 days a week from 8:45am to 5.00pm with a 1:8 OOH rota (expanding as team grows), with two vets on call for each shift—one primary and one for support. After each weekend on call, vets receive a 4-day weekend and an additional long weekend mid-rota. Extra OOH calls are compensated financially.
