A Role for a Mixed Experienced Veterinary Surgeon looking for a change or step in their career!
We are seeking an experienced Veterinary Surgeon to join a friendly and social team at a well-established mixed practice, where we pride ourselves on strong teamwork and a supportive environment. With a focus on work-life balance, this is a fantastic opportunity to enjoy nearby mountains, the sea, and city living.
Position Details:
- Full-time
- Normal working hours: 0845 to 1700 over a 4-day working week
- 1:8 OOH rota (increases when the role is filled), with 2 vets on call at all times
- Guaranteed mix of farm, equine, and small animal work
- Structured rota with set operating days and 15-minute consults
- CPD actively encouraged with a generous allowance
Ideal Candidate:
The ideal candidate will have a genuine interest in all areas of veterinary work (farm, equine, and small animal), although you will have the support to develop a special interest in any specific area. You should enjoy working as part of a close-knit team and value collaboration. A passion for providing high standards of care and professional development is essential, and previous experience in mixed practice will be highly valued.

- Well-equipped facilities including equine and small animal video endoscopes, ultrasound scanners for farm and equine work, high-quality small animal ultrasound, digital x-ray (including dental and mobile for equine), and more
