Our client’s Small Animal hospital is looking to expand their team of 8 Vets with an experienced individual who has a strong surgical background and a passion for tackling complex surgical cases as well as commitment to supporting individual interests and professional growth. You will be working alongside 8 Veterinary Surgeons including 2 certificate holders, a team of 13 Veterinary Nurses, an ANA and Auxiliary team, experienced receptionists, insurance team, finance administrator and the Practice Manager. This team enjoys monthly wellbeing activities within the practice and social activities outside of work regularly. This practice also holds ISFM gold standard cat-friendly status, silver rabbit-friendly award, and is working towards the dog-friendly award. This is an RCVS accredited small animal hospital with a large client base of established loyal clients and recent refurbishments include a cat-only dedicated side of the building, two separate theatres, plus dedicated dental and imaging suites, a purpose-built building with separate dog and cat waiting rooms, kennels, prep areas, theatres, On-site CT Scanner, video endoscopy, digital x-ray, and dedicated dental suite with a new dental x-ray machine, Colour flow Doppler ultrasound and oxygen kennels, Separate exotics ward and 'farewell' rooms, Slit lamp bio-microscope, tonometry, and cryotherapy, there is also a large on-site carpark for staff and clients and a lunch area and separate staff mindfulness room with a do-not-disturb policy.

This is a Permanent, Full-Time role working 4 days a week (with shift patterns covering from 8am – 7pm) and a rotating weekday off to create regular 4-day weekends with Saturdays working 8.30am – 1pm. However, our client can be flexible and will consider a part-time role or flexible hours so please do let us know your preferences.
