Our client has an exciting opportunity for an experienced veterinary professional looking to take on a leadership role across multiple clinics. As Clinical Director, you will be responsible for overseeing clinical standards and operational efficiency across five clinics, each led by a Lead Registered Veterinary Nurse. This involves managing around 35 employees while ensuring high standards of care and compliance with industry regulations. Your role will be pivotal in driving best practices, encouraging certifications, and upholding high-quality patient care.
Part of your responsibilities will include assisting with financial management, ensuring the clinics meet their performance targets and operate efficiently. You’ll be involved in setting and achieving goals, budget management, and contributing to the financial health of the clinics. The clinics collaborate with a local specialist team, providing access to advanced diagnostics including CT and MRI, and working alongside certificate holders in various specialties. This multi-site role offers the chance to work within a supportive network of clinics with state-of-the-art facilities.
The clinics are located within a 20-minute drive of each other, creating a close-knit network.
The successful candidate will ideally have a strong background in small animal practice, while prior management experience is advantageous but not mandatory. The role requires a balance between clinical expertise and leadership capabilities, therefore excellent communication and organizational skills are essential, as well as a passion for mentoring, and a strong desire to drive both clinical standards and financial performance forward.
This is a permanent, full-time role working 4 days a week, 9am – 7pm. However, our client is also happy to consider a part-time role for the right candidate so please do let us know your preferences.
This role offers a salary up to £80,000 DOE with a range of benefits including
- 7.6 weeks holiday plus bank holidays
- No Weekends
- No OOH
- Up to £5000 relocation allowance
- Birthday Leave
- RCVS, VDS and BVA fees paid
- £1250 CPD with 40 hours paid CPD leave
- Enhanced Family Friendly policies
- Development opportunities
- Pension scheme
- Wellbeing Support
- High Street discounts
- Plus, more!
If you are a dedicated veterinary professional ready to make a meaningful impact across a well-resourced, multi-site network of clinics, we would love to hear from you.
