RCVS Accredited Veterinary Hospital in Buckinghamshire is searching for a motivated and enthusiastic Veterinary Surgeon to join the fabulous, friendly team. Ideally looking for a small animal consulting only vet on a 15-month fixed term contract for maternity cover. Full-time hours – 40 hrs/week over 4 days longer days or 5 shorter days would be considered. Consulting at the main hospital or any of the branches on a rota basis. Looking for someone confident in sole charge consulting, confidence in surgery is not a prerequisite. Full support of the main hospital if cases need further work-up that is not available at branch. Happy to accommodate any particular interests you may have such as exotics, ophthalmology etc and reserve some dedicated consulting time to pursue these. This is a role that would suit veterinary surgeons with varying levels of experience and can be tailored according to that experience and the vet’s specific interests. The hospital has the full range of diagnostic and surgical equipment, allowing the team to work to the highest standards. Good travel links to London and the countryside.
