First Opinion Veterinary Surgeon – Cardiff
Our client is looking for an enthusiastic First Opinion Vet to join their RCVS-accredited hospital.
This team take pride in delivering exceptional care to their patients and clients in a friendly and collaborative environment. You will be part of a highly committed team that provides a seamless 24/7 service, working alongside experienced clinicians with access to outstanding facilities and cutting-edge equipment including a CT scanner, endo-surgery, advanced ultrasonography, and extensive blood analysis equipment as well as dedicated theatres for orthopaedics, soft tissue, and exotics and ECC wards and a fully equipped dental suite, there is also In-house Hydrotherapy & Physiotherapy services.
There is a dedicated night team with 24/7 inpatient care to support case continuity therefore you will have No On-Call requirements. You can also receive full support for certificate study & professional development.
The successful candidate will be a confident, experienced Vet who thrives in a team-oriented environment with a passion for mentoring and supporting colleagues with great communication skills, and a drive to continually develop your expertise.
This is a permanent, full-time role working 4 days a week with 1:5 weekends (9-hour shift Sat OR Sun) and 1 bank holiday shift a year. However, our client can be flexible and is happy to consider a part-time role for the right candidate so please do let us know your preferences.
This role offers a salary up to £60,000 DOE with a range of benefits including
