We are looking for a Veterinary Surgeon to join the amazing team at the practice in Cardiff on a fixed term six-month fixed term contract with the ideal start date being the end of April.
Hours:
This is a full-time permanent position working a 4 day week with no Weekends/OOH's.
Practice/Team:
The practice have a progressive, enthusiastic and highly committed team providing a seamless 24/7 service to their valued clients in a friendly and supportive environment. They have outstanding facilities and equipment and always strive to progress, improve and learn from one another.
Role:
The role will involve a mixture of hospital days, with responsibility for inpatient care, and ops days. There will be the need to pick up some emergency consultations, and on rare occasions assist the first opinion team with their workload, but no full consultation days. Confidence in surgeries including splenectomies, amputations, lap spays, etc would be beneficial, as would experience with managing complex medical cases.
Package:
Competitive salary up to £70,000 per annum
6.6 weeks annual holiday inclusive of Bank holidays – options to buy and sell
5 days CPD, with a budget of £1750
VDS and RCVS fees paid
