An exciting opportunity awaits a passionate Veterinary Surgeon to join a friendly and vibrant team at our client's practice.
Located half an hour outside of Liverpool City Centre, along the Mersey River, and under an hour to Manchester, the practice offers an ideal location for exploration on days off, with easily commutable motorway links. The practice is conveniently close to a variety of local amenities, bus routes, and less than a mile and a half away from Widnes train station.
The practice is overseen by a Veterinary Surgeon who holds a certificate in exotics and small animals, alongside being an RCVS advanced practitioner in surgery. The current team consists of 1 Vet, 2 Registered Veterinary Nurses, 2 Client Care Advisors, and 1 Practice Manager. They are seeking an experienced Vet to join, bringing new ideas and a high level of client care. Strong communication and interpersonal skills are essential, along with the ability to conduct basic consultations and perform routine surgeries such as neutering, dental work, and lumpectomies.
Ideally, they prefer someone part-time, available on Mondays and 1 in 2 Saturdays, but are flexible for those seeking more days. The practice runs 15-minute consults with dedicated time for administrative work.
