This independent, small animal practice in Cheshire is looking for a Vet to join their team.

They have 2 sites, one is a nurse training practice Hospital, that is well-equipped with two theatres, a dental suite including dental radiography, in-house lab with IDEXX blood and urinalysis machines (including sedivue), an EPOC machine, DR x-ray, high quality ultrasound, video endoscope and laparoscope.

The other is a purpose built branch with the same high standard of care.

The team consists of eight vets with Advanced Practitioners in Anaesthesia, ECC and Medicine and a diplomat orthopaedic surgeon, as well as a dedicated front of house team.

They also have specialists in Soft Tissue Surgery, Cardiology and Diagnostic imaging that often visit to allow an exceptional standard of care to be provided.

There is a fantastic nursing team of eight RVNs and four SVNs.

They are looking to expand their team as their practice continues to grow. Candidates will ideally have a minimum of 1 years experience, although they would consider less. You must also be a good team player, enthusiastic, proactive and highly motivated.

The role is four days per week plus 1 in 8 weekends (Saturday and Sunday 8am - 5pm), with two days off in lieu. There is a dedicated out of hours provider for on call, but inpatients are cared for by the RVN team and the hospital is staffed 24/7. The Vets share responsibility for the inpatients (1:8 nights).
