An exciting job opportunity has become available at our clients fantastic, independently owned 1st opinion small animal veterinary practice situated in Winsford, Cheshire. We are looking for a competent RCVS Registered (or eligible to register in 2024) Small Animal Veterinary Surgeon to join their team on a permanent basis.
- 4 days per week, part time may also be considered
- Saturday Mornings on a rota basis
- No OOHs or on call
Salary, competitive dependent on experience.
A well equipped 1st opinion veterinary practice which was opened in 2022, is set within a warm and bright spacious building with plenty of natural light and is equipped with state of the art surgical and diagnostic facilities including oxygen generator, heated operating table, bubble blankets, heated fluid pump, multiple multiparameter monitors, ECG, in-house laboratory, digital x-ray, ultrasound, endoscopy, bronchoscope (plans to also get a cystoscope), dental x-ray, dental machine & rabbit dental table, separate dog and cat wards where classical music is played & use pheromone plug-ins.
Here you'd be joining a team of 1 Vets (owner), visiting orthopaedic surgeon, 2.5 Nurses and 3 support staff.
The ideal candidate will be a confident and competent 1st opinion small animal veterinary surgeon, who enjoys providing a compassionate service to their patients and clients. You need to be confident performing routine 1st opinion surgery and consultations and work well within a team.

Minimum requirements:
