We are looking for a Veterinary Surgeon to join the progressive, modern independent practice in Newton Abbot.
Hours:
This is a full-time permanent position working a 4-day week with 1:4 weekends on rota. They provide their own out-of-hours with a 1:8 night time rota. Part-time hours considered for the right candidate.
Practice/Team:
The practice has excellent facilities, including separate cat and dog waiting rooms and kennelling, two theatres and a dental suite with dental X-ray. We have all the usual kit, including digital X-ray, ultrasound, multiparameter monitors, and a fully equipped lab, including the Vetscan Imagyst. They also benefit from the expertise of visiting specialists, who assist with more complex orthopaedic and soft-tissue procedures, allowing us to keep the cases in-house. They have a fantastic nursing team of 9 Vets, 11 RVNs, 3 night RVNs, 3 SVNs, and 2 VCAs, who are supported by our kennel assistants.
Role:
They generally have 3 vets consulting and 2 vets operating daily, so support is always available when needed, and you can get involved with all aspects of their varied caseload.
Package:
Salary range of £45,000 - £70,000, depending on experience

CPD encouraged, with certificates supported and funded
Professional fees paid for RCVS, VDS, plus one other membership
