Are you a Senior/Head Vet or aspiring to be one? Would you like to obtain a Surgical or Medical certificate? Look no further! Our client’s newly refurbished practice in Dorset offers both options. This team are ideally looking for a full-time Vet Surgeon to work 4.5 days a week with a 1:3 share in the Saturday Rota and NO out-of-hours duties. However, they are open to accommodating shorter shifts as achieving a great work/life balance for you is important to them! This team offer a supportive and motivated team environment within a modern and well-equipped practice situated in a beautiful market town, just a half-hour drive from the Jurassic Coast.
The ideal candidate will be responsible for and required to
- Conduct high-quality consultations and surgical procedures.
- Mentor and support the veterinary team, providing guidance and leadership.
- Contribute to the practice’s management, organization, and financial performance.
- Build and maintain strong relationships with clients, ensuring excellent patient care.
- Utilize and maintain state-of-the-art equipment and facilities, including a dedicated dental room, DR digital X-rays, ultrasound scanner, and in-house lab testing facilities.
- Excellent communication, leadership, and interpersonal skills.
This is a Permanent, Full-Time role working 4.5 days a week with 1:3 Saturdays. However, our client can be flexible so please do let us know your preferences.
