JR is seeking a passionate Veterinary Surgeon to join our client’s dedicated team who can offer a supportive work environment with opportunities to build your clientele and develop your skills. This role includes 15-minute consultation slots, dedicated operating days, and regular client communication. You will be working alongside 5 Vets, 7 Registered Veterinary Nurses, 2 Student Nurses and supported by 5 support team members. This team prioritise well-being and a healthy work-life balance whilst focusing on providing a friendly and high-quality service to long-standing clients. Located close to local attractions including a beautiful seafront within a 5-minute walk and the South Downs just a 10-minute drive away, this practice offers a vibrant living and working environment with excellent transport links to London. Facilities include In-house laboratory, digital x-ray, ultrasound, digital dental x-ray, operating theatre.
The successful candidate will be responsible for and required to
- Provide gold standard care to a loyal client base.
- Conduct 15-minute consultations.
- Perform routine and potentially more complex surgeries.
- Manage care of inpatients.
- Regularly communicate with clients to build strong relationships.
- Work as part of a veterinary and vet nursing team.
- Ability to work sole charge at the branch practice on designated days.
- Passion for animal and client care.
- Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
- Potential to take on a senior vet role to assist the Clinical Director.
This is a Permanent, Part-Time role working 21.5 hours a week over 2 days 8am – 6pm with 1:4 Saturday mornings on a Rota basis 8am – Midday.
