Are you a Mixed Veterinary Surgeon looking for a dynamic and diverse role? This opportunity is ideal for those who enjoy the variety and challenge of working with multiple species, from small animals to large farm animals and equines. You will have an involvement in both ambulatory large animal work and in-practice care for small animals and will be required for farm and equine clients, with small animals out-of-hours covered by another team. You will be working alongside a large, close-knit team of 13 vets, including 4 mixed vets, with varied specialties and certificate holders. The practice prioritises creating an enjoyable working environment and a balanced lifestyle for its staff with a strong focus on supporting career aspirations, training, and mentoring, including a VetGDP adviser and status as a Veterinary Nurse training practice as well as ongoing efforts to enhance team happiness and well-being, recognizing it as crucial to a successful practice. This role offers a diverse and interesting range of cases across small animals, farm animals, and equines, providing a broad scope of experience. Both facilities are fully equipped with modern diagnostic and surgical technology, including X-ray, ultrasound, and endoscopy equipment.
This is a Permanent, Full-Time role working 35 hours a week plus one night on call and 1:4 weekends. OOH work will be required for the farm and equine clients only. Our client will also consider a Part-Time role for the right candidate so please do let us know your preferences.
