JR is seeking a Veterinary Surgeon to join our client’s fun, down-to-earth, and caring team. This position offers a supportive environment working alongside an experienced veterinary surgeon and a great support team. This practice offers two consultation rooms, a prep room, theatre, x-ray and dental rooms, and routinely handles orthopaedic and endodontic work, in addition to providing day-to-day services for the local community. Key Responsibilities:
- Deliver exceptional clinical care during consultations and procedures.
- Provide outstanding care to clients, offering clear updates on their pets.
- Maintain professional excellence, adhering to the highest standards of regulatory, practice, and operational compliance.
- Prepare tailored, accurate treatment and care plans with clear cost estimates.
- Engage, mentor, and develop your team, enhancing their skills and utilising them effectively.
- Complete clinical handovers and arrange transfers for patients needing out-of-hours or enhanced care.
- Effective team player with excellent clinical leadership skills.
- Experience supporting nurse consultations and Schedule 3 procedures, understanding their contribution to clinic performance and efficiency.
- Skilled in coaching and influencing colleagues to achieve the best outcomes.

This is a Permanent, Full-Time role working 39 hours a week over 4 days with 1:3 half or 1:6 full weekends. However, our client can be flexible to suit your needs so please do let us know what works for you.
