This corporately owned, multi-site group are looking for a new Veterinary Surgeon to join the team working between their Hospital and Cardiff branch practice.
The Role:
This is a Full-time position working 4 days a week, with 1 in 5 Saturday or Sundays (38 hours) with no Out of Hours required to allow for a great work/life balance – Part Time options are also available.
The RCVS accredited Hospital is a multi-disciplinary site that actively encourages collaboration between the referral and first opinion/ECC teams. The site offers platform for the team to be able to work cases up fully and pursue their personal clinical interests.
The branch practice branch practices is fully equipped, and self-sufficient, but have the back up and support of the hospital site when needed. This is more than just a vaccine clinics and is able to provide varied and interesting caseload.
This hospital is fully equipped with a CT Scanner, Advanced Ultrasonography, Endosurgery facilities, Extensive blood analysis equipment- including TEG, blood gases etc, Dedicated orthopaedic, soft tissue and exotic theatres, Dedicated ECC wards Dental suite and provides 247 Inpatient Care as well as an In-house Hydrotherapy service and a In-house Physiotherapy service.
The Branch practice is also well equipped and consists of a Digital x-ray, Blood analysers, Dental suites, including dental x-ray, Ultrasound and access to shared radiosurgery units and is fully supported by teams of RVNs, ACAs and receptionists.
This role will also offer the training n Laparoscopic procedures, as well as Certificate Support/Clinical Development.
