The PDSA is a special organisation that provides expert veterinary care for people across the UK who otherwise would not be able to afford to treat their pets.
This role is available full or part time. They typically schedule one late shift from 10:30 AM to 7:00 PM and one early shift from 8:00 AM to 4:30 PM each week.
The out-of-hours coverage is managed by Vets Now, allowing us to focus on ensuring stable patients are monitored in the hospital by our Animal Care Assistants.
Weekends are shared on a 1:8 rotation, ensuring full coverage. This arrangement not only includes lieu time at the end of the following week, giving you additional free time, but also offers enhanced pay.
Candidates must be eager to learn new things, comfortable working sole charge and conducting case work ups.
A willingness to share your expertise and lead by example is also important.

• Salary - £44,888 - £58,969 (Including allowances) Pro rata for part-time hours per annum
