GLG Vets is excited to partner with a well-established veterinary practice in Southampton to find a skilled and compassionate Veterinary Surgeon to join their growing team. This is an excellent opportunity for an experienced vet with a keen interest in ophthalmology, or a current certificate holder in the field, to further develop their expertise while delivering outstanding care to a loyal and diverse client base.

Key Responsibilities:
- Provide high-quality veterinary care to a wide range of animals.
- Conduct consultations, diagnostics, and surgical procedures.
- Provide emergency care when required, on a 1:4 weekend rotation.
- Maintain accurate and up-to-date patient records.
- Work collaboratively with a friendly and experienced team to achieve the best outcomes for patients.
- Demonstrate a keen interest in ophthalmology and contribute to the development of this service within the practice.
Skills and Experience:
- Qualified Veterinary Surgeon with RCVS registration.
- Passionate about animal care with excellent diagnostic and surgical skills.
- Keen interest or certification in ophthalmology (desirable).
- Strong communication skills and a desire to provide exceptional client care.
- Ability to work effectively in a busy, fast-paced environment.
