This corporately owned practice is looking for a new Veterinary Surgeon to join their team.
The Role:
The role is full time working 4 days per week plus 1 in 3 Saturdays or 1 in 6 full weekends with the occasional on-call shift.
You will be joining a 2 vet team mainly based in Redbourne, however they also open their sister branch Harpenden on Tuesdays and Thursdays. Harpenden is a small practice where we do consultations and the vet there is normally sole charge, which is less usual in Redbourn..
The ideal candidate would be a Veterinary Surgeon who has good general practice knowledge and is confident with working up medical cases to a high standard as well as performing routine surgeries.
You will work in a supportive environment with a great team of nurses with lots of opportunity to improve your skills and confidence. The role will involve consulting, routine surgery as well as taking part in the weekend, bank holiday and on-call rota.
This practice is fully equipped with digital x-ray machine, biochemistry and haematology machines, and a new ultrasound machine with 4 probes that is good enough for advanced echocardiography.
