Our client’s practice is based in the stunning location of Anglesey and has an exciting opportunity for a Small Animal Clinical Director to join their team. This practice is a well-established, multi-site, mixed practice with a strong team of 15 Veterinary Surgeons, RVNs, and support colleagues. The practice manager, along with the Large Animal Clinical Directors, ensures the smooth running of operations of whom you will also be working alongside as Small Animal Clinical Director leading the Small Animal team as well as drive and shape the future of the practice, ensuring high standards of care for the patients and their owners. This role offers a multitude of opportunities for professional growth, personal time, business development and to enhance leadership skills. This purpose-built main site is the hub of operations, with plans for further expansion. Located amongst 130 miles of coastline within a designated Area of Outstanding Natural Beauty (AONB) this idyllic location offers plenty of outdoor activities, including paddle-boarding, kayaking, canoeing, numerous hiking trails for mountain and walking enthusiasts as well the luxury of enjoying fresh, local ingredients and seafood straight from the boat at fantastic pubs and restaurants. This location is renowned for its high quality of life, making it a fantastic place to live and work.
The successful candidate will be responsible for and required to
- Have a passion for dedication in providing high standards of care to all animals
- Have excellent communication skills and the ability to effectively interact with clients and team members
- Possess organizational skills and the strong ability to manage and lead a team
- Experienced in or interested in developing skills in business management
This is a Permanent Full-Time role working 4 days a week and 1:4 Saturdays (Half Day).
